Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Concrete Mobile batching plant
  2. Loader (Front-end loader, TLB)
  3. Concrete mixer truck.
  1. Our plants are built standard for a 6-cube concrete mixer truck. If you have a 9-cube concrete mixer truck, we fit our aggregate hopper with extension plates, which will enable you to load a larger load. Our load cell is already calibrated to handle the larger volume to accommodate the 9-cube trucks.
  1. We use the shear beam load cells type on our plant, which is fitted in the front and back of the aggregate hopper.
  2. The Shear Beams do not need to be fastened before you move the plant and are more durable than the bottle-type load cells.
  1. The mobile batching plant is fully equipped with load cells, indicators, a water pump, a water system, a direct drive gearbox, and a motor, and is ready for use. No need for any V-Belts to be kept on site in case of any breakdowns.
  2. The mobile batching plant is fitted with an orange electrical control box on the plant, with all the indicators and electrical connections.
  3. The indicators will allow the operator to see the quantity aggregate loaded and the volume of water that is loaded into the concrete mixer truck.
  1. Concrete slab – for installing the mobile batching plant. (Floor plan will be provided to customers)
  2. Ramp for the loader. (To load aggregate into the aggregate hopper)
  3. Water tank (Constant supply)
  4. 380V electricity connection or generator.
  5. Storage of material. (Stone, sand & cement)
  1. Yes, we do provide commissioning & training of the mobile batching plant. Please discuss your requirements with us in this regard.
  2. We do cross-border commissioning and training as well.
  1. No, the normal mobile batching plant is loaded with bags of cement into the bag splitter. (Which is situated at the back of the plant)
  2. Depending on the hourly concrete ready-mix output per hour and the size of your plant.
  3. You can always install cement silos later, should you require to increase your hourly output.
  1. The concrete mobile batching plant is a dry batch plant, where all your aggregate, cement, and water are loaded into a concrete mixer truck, which will do the mixing in return. The mixing is done while the truck drives to the delivery site.
  1. Our normal concrete mobile batching plant requires a 30kVA generator. Especially if you must stop the plant with load on the belt. With start-up, the amps are high, and you will require a strong enough generator to handle start-up without damaging your motor or any electronics.
  2. The plant can be changed to star/delta, which will reduce the start-up amps and can reduce the size of the generator. We recommend that you use a minimum of 30kva.
  3. The larger your batching plant, the larger your generator (Meaning if you have any cement silos with screw conveyors, pneumatic cylinders, the more power is required)
  1. Your Mobile batching plant can be towed behind your concrete mixer truck or a normal Horse. (Truck)
  2. Can be loaded onto a low-bed truck. (Please keep in mind the height of the bridges on the road that you need to transport the plant.)
  1. Our normal mobile batching plant can produce between 24 and 30 cubes per hour.
  2. Depending on your requirements, we have different solutions for you to select from.
  1. Our plants are all built in standard sizes, and you can at any point in time upgrade your plant with various solutions, etc.: weighing cement hoppers, weighing water tank, Piggy-back system.
  2. Automation of the plant can be done at any time, and your total system can be changed to run the automation from a control office with a pc and printer system.
  1. Depending on your hourly output requirements, we can provide different solutions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
